Hi Everyone! My name is Susan and I am blessed to live in beautiful Denver, Colorado. I am one of those rare Colorado natives who enjoys much of the outdoor experiences that Colorado has to offer. My passions include mountain biking and road cycling, skiing, running, hiking and spending time with the people that I love the most! I love trying and experiencing new things and am a voracious reader who loves to learn new things. I feel like my life is a constantly changing masterpiece!
I am recently divorced and have the blessing of being the Mom of two beautiful kids; Sarah who is 15 and Josh who is 11. They are fun, energetic, positive kids who continually amaze me with their insight, energy and passion for life!
I currently am the founder and C.E.O. of a company called My Warranty Ran Out; a company dedicated to helping people attain balance in their lives so they can “arrive” in both personal and professional situations confident that they are living a life of physical and mental health while maintaining the energy to create a life filled with passion.
I have to credit many of the changes that I have made in my life to my association with Loren Slocum and Lobella. I met Loren through my former husband, Mike, who attended a health seminar that Loren was facilitating. Mike came home and mentioned to me that he had met Loren and that he thought she and I were, as he put it, "soul mates". He was right!
Like Loren, I feel that I have been called to make a difference in the lives of women. Being a Lobella facilitator is the opportunity to help women change their lives and make themselves a priority! I feel that women sometimes spend so much time thinking about others that they forget about themselves and ultimately pay a high price for that neglect. I believe that women have to start giving to themselves first so they can make a difference in the lives of all the people with whom they come into contact. Lobella has helped me to not only have this realization but put it into practice in my own life. As the Lobella tagline says I think we can “Change the World One Women at a Time!” I love bringing this back to my own community and bringing women together each month to take time out, make changes in their lives and just have FUN!
One of the most exciting aspects of doing a Life Tuneup is that it is quick and easy and you feel like you can manage to incorporate it into your already busy life. One of my favorite Tuneups has been creating happiness in my space. I have made sure that my bedroom is my getaway! I got a chair that is comfy and cozy, added some affordable accessories and pictures and put some great feeling sheets on my bed in a color I love and have surrounded myself with books that inspire me. I didn't have to spend a lot of money and now I can go into the bedroom, close the door and feel like it is my special space to recharge and reconnect with myself.
