I wanted to tell you about Raising Malawi, the organization founded by Madonna and Michael Berg. Malawi, a small country in Africa, is the fourth poorest country in the world. Malawians face an unfortunate combination of disease, drought, poverty and a lack of critical resources.
I joined the movement, Raising Malawi, because of the tremendous impact we can make.

Raising Malawi is doing incredible work to bring an end to the poverty and hardship endured in Malawi. Malawians today are facing the most difficult conditions. And few bear the brunt more than the country’s women and children — particularly the numerous orphans.
The challenges are immense, but Raising Malawi is working with local community organizations to foster real and lasting change. There are many ways to get involved. Learn more about what we can do from Madonna’s video message:
